IUA HIGHSCHOOL STUDENTS AND FORMER STUDENTS ON STAGE: DEAR EVAN HANSEN
The many awards winner musical Dear Evan Hansen, (music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, book by Steven Levenson) was first shown in July 2015 in Washington DC and Broadway in 2016. At the 71st Tony Awards it was nominated to 9 prizes, obtained 6 distinctions, including Best Musical.
The show deals with acute situations of everyday reality in the digital age, such as the dynamics of single-parent families or the evolution of interpersonal relationships. Based on the experience of a teenager with social anxiety, the plot raises ethical and moral conflicts in the script of each character, which are resolved with love and tolerance, acceptance and appreciation of each human being with their gifts and limitations.
IUA Stage Stars´ version of Dear Evan Hansen, directed by Prof. Ximena Sandro, was presented in two shows at the Fernandino Theater dazzling a full house audience with a brilliantly resolved stage display with multimedia effects and lighting, offering a versatile stage for the performances of the young talents, who reaped well-deserved applause.

ALUMNOS Y EX ALUMNOS DE SECUNDARIA IUA EN ESCENA: DEAR EVAN HANSEN
El multipremiado musical Dear Evan Hansen, (música y letras de Benj Pasek y Justin Paul, libro de Steven Levenson) fue estrenado en Julio de 2015 en Washington DC y en Broadway en 2016. En la 71 edición de los premios Tony Awards fue nominado en 9 categorías obteniendo 6 distinciones, incluyendo el Mejor Musical del año.
La obra versa sobre situaciones agudas de la realidad cotidiana en la era digital, como las dinámicas de las familias monoparentales o la evolución de las relaciones interpersonales. A partir de la experiencia de un adolescente con ansiedad social, la trama plantea conflictos éticos y morales en el guión de cada personaje, que se resuelven con amor y tolerancia, aceptación y valoración de cada ser humano con sus dones y sus limitaciones.
La versión de IUA Stage Stars, dirigida por la Profª. Ximena Sandro, presentada en dos funciones en el Teatro Fernandino a sala llena, deslumbró con un despliegue escenográfico brillantemente resuelto con efectos multimedia e iluminación, ofreciendo un escenario muy versátil para las actuaciones de los jóvenes talentos, que cosecharon muy merecidos aplausos.
